
Laura Aung
Laura Aung is the R&D Manager at Dr. Bronner’s Magic Soaps, a mid-size soap & body care brand referred to as the last corporation with a soul according to GQ. As the R&D Manager at Dr. Bronner's, Laura has led her team to implement Dr. Bronner’s first circular refill stations, launch paper-based refill cartons of soap as a more sustainable alternative to the 100% PCR PET bottle, and gain improvements in PCR content & recyclability for existing packaging. Since joining Dr. Bronner’s in 2015 Laura has pioneered programs for the company in sustainability data analysis and technical services bringing leadership, technical expertise, a strategic approach, creativity and grit to the company’s sustainable innovation goals. Prior to joining Dr. Bronner's, she worked as an R&D scientist for Clorox where she gained experience in product innovation by supporting projects from the pilot phase to manufacturing. Laura holds a BS in Chemical Engineering from the University of California Santa Barbara and lives in Carlsbad with her family where she enjoys surfing and playing pickle ball in her free time.
