
Jean Marc Papin
Jean Marc Papin is a purpose-driven data and sustainability leader with over 20 years of experience in management consulting and media. Since joining Horizon Media in 2018, he has led the company’s data transformation and built its first people-based marketing platform, laying the foundation for Horizon’s sustainability strategy. He also founded and now leads Horizon’s sustainability practice, driving the agency’s commitment to decarbonize media investments and corporate operations. Under his leadership, Horizon became the first agency to shift 100% of its programmatic buying to Green Media inventory, setting a new industry benchmark. Prior to Horizon, Jean Marc advised Fortune 500 clients on global transformation programs across sectors including consumer goods, energy, and financial services. His system-thinking approach was shaped by leading environmental regulations compliance for chemical and consumer goods, Aeronautics, Automotive and even Nuclear Powerplant engineering and compliance. He is also the initiator of the Sustainable Media Summit, the Horizon–EPIC partnership, and media-industry collaborations with Earth Day. Jean Marc has forged alliances with Vendée Globe and SailGP to promote carbon-neutral sports and ocean preservation—demonstrating how media can be a powerful force for climate action.
