
Craig Riley
Craig Riley is a sustainability executive with more than 20 years of leadership experience in ESG, climate strategy, and corporate sustainability program implementation. He has played a pivotal role in over 50 sustainability programs and led more than 20 net zero and climate transition plans, guiding organizations across sectors including transportation, manufacturing, logistics, and climate technology. His expertise spans materiality, data and GHG inventories, stakeholder engagement, and operational action plans across sustainability domains. Beyond strategy, Craig has directed cross-functional consultant and in-house teams in developing, managing, and disclosing sustainability programs to meet evolving regulatory requirements, market expectations, and stakeholder needs. Craig is the principal and founder of Aligned Sustainability, where he provides advisory services and fractional arrangements to help companies build credible, actionable programs. He holds degrees in Environmental Science and Chemistry, an MBA with a concentration in sustainable enterprise, and certifications as a LEED AP and in GRI. He is also pursuing additional certification in sustainability and climate risk management.
