Susan Scow
Inspired by a love of global languages and the fair trade movement, Susan Scow pursued a sociology degree with management certificate and ultimately an Impact MBA with greenhouse gas accounting certificate. In the meantime she worked on farms, in stores, and in housewares sourcing. Her education led her to her dream job at EILEEN FISHER, Inc., where she works with teams throughout the company on sustainability strategy and supports the company’s amazing suppliers on their efforts. She supports suppliers on both social and environmental sustainability, including decarbonization work, Fair Trade Certification, FEM analysis and improvement, SLCP-aligned analysis and improvement, women’s programs, and more. Some of Susan’s recent favorite work includes founding EILEEN FISHER’s Fair Trade program and establishing a coalition with Everlane and Reformation to jointly decarbonize shared facilities through Aii. Susan believes in relationships as the vessel for data and that for every sustainability ask a brand has of a supplier, the brand should demonstrate an equivalent initiative that they are asking of themselves.
