Marissa Rosen is the founder, owner, and principal consultant of Climate Social, an agency helping impact-driven organizations and thought leaders share their stories and create positive change since 2015. Climate Social delivers bespoke, customizable solutions in public relations, social media, website development, copywriting, branding, and more! Marissa focuses on networking strategies, executing media campaigns, promoting high-profile events, and fostering community engagement to drive positive impact for her clients. Her work is centered around creating meaningful connections that amplify changemakers' voices and inspire change. Marissa is proud that Climate Social is an Ally of the Carbon Business Council, and partners with mission-driven for-profit and nonprofit organizations — some of which include the World Business Council for Sustainable Development, US Plastics Pact, US Farmers and Ranchers in Action, South Pole, Net Impact, EarthShift Global, Forest Trends, WholeWorks, Biomimicry 3.8, LanzaTech, LanzaJet, and Grounded World. Prior to founding Climate Social, Marissa launched this chapter of her career as a digital marketing consultant with Sustainable Brands, led social media at TriplePundit, directed marketing for the US DoE's Energy Efficient Buildings Hub stakeholder engagement programs, and consulted with startups at the Wharton Small Business Development Center. She has contributed to national publications including Trellis Group and HuffPost and been featured in several podcasts including Environment+Energy Leader's kick-off episode. She earned a B.A. in Communications from the University of Missouri, and a Master in Environmental Studies degree from the University of Pennsylvania.
