
Maria Tobin
Dr. Maria Tobin is a seasoned development leader with over a decade of experience driving transformative international programs and cross-sector partnerships. As Executive Director of Corporate Partnerships at CARE, she drives strategic engagement with global food and agriculture partners to advance gender equity and build resilient supply chains. Earlier in her career, Dr. Tobin led predictive modeling research with The Carter Center in Uganda to strengthen health systems and community interventions, and later directed strategic data initiatives at The Task Force for Global Health to inform policy and optimize disease elimination efforts across Africa. She holds degrees in biology (University of Tennessee), global health (University of Notre Dame), and public health (University of Georgia). Her leadership has been recognized with honors including Atlanta’s 30 Under 30, Notre Dame’s Domer Dozen, and Tennessee’s Volunteer 40 Under 40 for her impact on equity in global agriculture.
