Kelly Shepard , DHL Express

Kelly Shepard is Head of U.S. Retail & Sustainability Programs for DHL Express, the world’s leading international express logistics company. In this role, she directs the U.S. retail network expansion, ensuring greater access to international shipping services for individuals, entrepreneurs, and small businesses.

In addition to her retail leadership, Kelly is responsible for advancing environmental initiatives for DHL Express U.S. and the Retail Americas region. She chairs the Green Logistics Council and serves as GoGreen Chair, leading employee engagement and community-focused programs that embed sustainability into business operations. She also drives efforts to expand Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) use in the U.S. network, a critical step in decarbonizing logistics.

Kelly holds a Bachelor’s degree and an MBA, and most recently earned a Postgraduate Certificate in Sustainable Business from the University of Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership (CISL). She brings this blend of business and sustainability expertise into her leadership at DHL, with a focus on connecting growth with climate action and enabling a more sustainable logistics future.
