Eric Henry
Eric Henry is on a mission to transform the apparel industry for the benefit of people and the planet. As CEO of TS Designs in Burlington, North Carolina, he leads a company dedicated to producing high-quality, printed apparel through a domestic, transparent, and traceable supply chain. With more than 40 years in the business, Eric has witnessed the shift from a predominantly domestic industry to today, where more than 97% of clothing is produced overseas, made largely from synthetic, fossil-fuel-based materials. He is proving that clothing made domestically with natural fibers can compete in the global apparel industry. Piedmont Agrarian Collaborative (PAC), another project Eric recently helped found, brings together a diverse group of small farms in North Carolina’s Piedmont region that are committed to regenerative farming practices aimed at enhancing soil health and sequestering carbon. The goal is to provide communities across the state with fresh, locally grown fruits, vegetables, meats, eggs, and more, while fostering sustainability and a deeper connection to the land.
