Donald Wiseman joined Teknor Apex as CEO in September 2023, bringing with him a robust history within the plastics industry and a deep expertise in masterbatches and compounding. Prior to joining TA, Don served as CEO at Star Plastics and on GreenMantra’s board as an independent director. Earlier in his career, he was President for Performance Products and Solutions with PolyOne, Managing Director and General Manager in Taiwan for Cabot Microelectronics, and held various leadership roles at Americhem. Since joining TA, Don has led transformative initiatives to strengthen the company’s position in sustainability and future growth. He spearheaded the acquisition of Danimer Scientific, a leader in biopolymers, advancing TA’s commitment to innovative, bio-based materials. Under his leadership, the company completed a supply agreement with Newlight Technologies’ polymers, expanding capabilities in carbon capture–based polymers and reinforcing its sustainability strategy. With a proven track record of driving growth, innovation, and sustainable solutions, Don is positioning Teknor Apex as a global leader in advanced material science.
