
Aaron Burgess
Aaron Burgess has been working at the intersection of climate policy, politics, and investment for over a decade and is passionate about enabling climate solutions that will yield significant impact -- on a timeline that actually matters. He is the co-founder of Northwind Climate, a data-driven SaaS platform that provides business intelligence for the climate economy. Aaron has served as Vice President of Impact and Chief of Staff at Galvanize Climate Solutions, a global investment firm delivering capital and integrated expertise to accelerate climate solutions. He was the Climate Director for Tom Steyer's 2020 presidential campaign, led the Climate and Energy program at NextGen America, and served as a policy and communications consultant to many clients including former Governors Jennifer Granholm and Bill Ritter and the California Air Resources Board. He holds a Master of Public Policy from the University of California, Berkeley, and both a BA and BS from the University of Colorado Boulder. He lives in Berkeley with his wife and two daughters.
