Rolf Skar is the Forest Campaign Director for Greenpeace USA. He has worked for forest conservation in many forums for two decades – from tree-tops of old-growth forests in the Pacific Northwest, to the halls of the United Nations. Since 2007, Rolf has contributed to innovative, award-winning Greenpeace campaigns in places like Indonesia, the Brazilian Amazon, the Congo Basin, and Canada. The majority of his work has been centered on private sector solutions to deforestation and degradation. He has appeared in leading news program on FOX News, NPR, MSNBC, as well as the pages of the New York Times, Rolling Stone, the Washington Post, and Los Angeles Times, among others.
