Detroit Location

Redefining the Good Life will launch in Detroit, Michigan, the iconic center of the American Industrial Age. In Detroit, an important chapter in our global history was born and is now being reinvented. The city will serve as the launch of our community’s 3-year global Good Life initiative; from there, the conversation travels around the world as we imagine the products, services, businesses and support infrastructure that will deliver a sustainably flourishing future for all.

SB’17 Detroit will be held at Cobo Convention Center, a state-of-the-art event facility conveniently located in downtown Detroit’s dynamic, lively civic center. Cobo Convention Center overlooks the beautiful Detroit River with views of neighboring Windsor, Canada. Easily accessible by public transit and SB’17’s featured hotel parters, Cobo Center is also a Green Meetings Industry Council ASM/APEX Standard Certified Facility.
