Joy Pettirossi-Poland is the President of Building Bridges and a Business Development Consultant for Sustainable Brands.  Joy is a recognized thought-leader in creating “People-Driven” business models and advising on sustainable business strategies.  Joy is the creator of the MVP (More Value & Profit) ™ program designed to help CPAs and business owners create more profitable and sustainable businesses.  Joy is known for her work with HIP Investor in co-creating a collaborative 401(k) sustainability assessment, education and scoring program.
Joy has presented on topics surrounding her MVP program and corporate sustainability at numerous conferences including the XPX BOSTON Exit Planning Exchange, the Wharton School of Business’ New Metrics for Sustainable Business conference, and at MIT’s Sloan School of Management’s Annual Sustainable Investing Conference.
Joy has been featured in the CPA Journal, Accounting Today, Sustainable Brands Magazine, CR Magazine and the Providence Business News.  On April 26, Joy will be honored for her dedication and commitment to the RI Society of CPA’s being given the Mission Award for her work which includes developing the first Intangibles Valuation task force in 2015 and the formal Sustainable Value Committee in 2016 .  This committee is the first of its kind in the country and Joy is the first non-CPA to receive the society’s Mission Award.
Joy earned her BA in Psychology from Boston University and her Master of Science degree as a systemic therapist from Central Connecticut State University.
