CEO and Co-Founder of Rebel Nell L3C and an attorney, Amy moved to Detroit in 2007 to pursue her childhood dream of working in the sports industry. The experiences Amy had as a new ‘Detroiter’ made her fall in love with the city; Detroit quickly became her home. Since moving here, she has started a social enterprise called Rebel Nell to employ women out of shelters and teach them the marketable skill of making jewelry from fallen graffiti. In addition to providing employment, the women are also given an opportunity to gain an independent life through financial literacy, business education, and life wellness classes.
