Learning from Young Detroiters: An Exploration of Sustainability, Leadership and Purpose
Leaders’ Quest will lead a workshop which brings attendees together with a group of young Detroiters for an exploration of sustainability, leadership and purpose. The City of Detroit’s Mayor’s Office has assembled a group of college students with an interest in sustainability from diverse backgrounds across Detroit. This workshop is an opportunity to connect with future leaders from a city that is reinventing itself following its emergence from bankruptcy just a few years ago. How does the next generation think about the future of work? What role does sustainability play in their lives and career choices? This workshop will be experiential, conversational and fun! What common challenges do we face? What aspirations do we share? What wisdom might we pass on to the younger generation about finding meaning in our work, and what can we learn from them?
