RILA

RILA

RILA and Sustainable Brands are coming together in 2017 to host a combined, industry-leading sustainability conference to focus on how brands, retailers and their ecosystem of stakeholders can come together to leverage environmental and social purpose, Redefine the Good Life and deliver it across all social sectors in a time of rapid disruption from many sides.

In past years, each organization has organized its own independent conference. Last year it became clear to us that the mission and objectives of both organizations and their respective conferences are completely aligned. In many cases, we even share the same attendees, and we recognized that everyone’s time and budgets are constrained. We believe the brand and retail communities can more effectively deliver the promise of a flourishing future, and even more importantly, as the discipline of corporate sustainability matures, that the nature of the conversations in both conferences are converging. It makes a great sense to have one conference that focuses on the needs of retailers and consumer brands alike, and we are thrilled to make this a reality at SB’17 Detroit.

We are excited to be hosting this first-ever combined event, bringing RILA’s retail expertise together with Sustainable Brands’ consumer insights, sustainability-led brand innovation and marketing expertise. We look forward to growing together to improve the success of our businesses by improving the lives of our customers, employees and communities.
