Veronica works closely with Lyft’s Chief Business Officer, David Baga, to aggressively grow Lyft’s enterprise business and is leading many of Lyft’s corporate social responsibility efforts working to re-define philanthropy for Lyft’s unique business model. Prior to this, Veronica was the first government relations hire for Lyft and worked to build the government relations team and the foundational structure for Lyft’s long term policy and regulatory success leading the effort to enter and green-lit over 50 markets, including markets that competitors had unsuccessfully tried to enter for years. In June of 2015, she was named one of Fast Company Magazine’s Most Creative People in Business and later named one of Levo League’s inaugural Levo 100, profiling millennials who are transforming the world as we know it. Veronica serves on the board of Meals on Wheels San Francisco, and MACLA, a contemporary Silicon Valley Latino arts organization. She is a graduate of Phillips Exeter Academy and Stanford University and a proud native Houstonian.
