Cindy is a sustainability pioneer and thought leader with more than 25 years of proven expertise navigating the complexities of the sustainability arena while serving as sustainability lead for a variety of private and public companies, nonprofits, government organizations and consulting firms. Drawing on her extensive knowledge, experience and network in the sustainability space, Cindy currently advises clients on sustainability strategies and designs and implements sustainability leadership programs that build shared value, engage stakeholders, increase corporate equity and create positive change.

Previously, Cindy was the Global Head of Sustainability for S.C. Johnson & Son, Inc., where she developed and led the company’s sustainability business, operational and marketing strategies for the global company and its portfolio of consumer products, such as Windex®, Glade®, OFF®, Scrubbing Bubbles® and Ziploc®. She also served as the Director of Public Engagement for the National Commission on the BP Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill and Offshore Drilling, where she was the senior lead and point person for the Presidential Commission’s public outreach and stakeholder engagement. Formerly, Cindy was the Senior Advisor to the President & CEO of World Wildlife Fund (WWF), working to advance WWF’s climate change, energy and conservation goals. She has also held senior consulting positions with entities such as the National Commission on Energy Policy, Bipartisan Policy Center, Environmental Futures and Arthur D. Little. She has served on advisory boards of numerous sustainability organizations such as WBCSD, World Economic Forum, Consumer Goods Forum, Grocery Manufacturers Association and The Sustainability Consortium. And, she currently serves on the Advisory Board of Sustainable Brands.

Cindy received a Master of Public Policy degree from Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Washington University in St. Louis. She also studied international business and economics at the London School of Economics.
