Chianti Blackmon
Chianti Blackmon (she/her/ella) is a visionary equity, justice, and inclusion consultant, educator, and leadership coach with over 15 years of experience guiding individuals and institutions through transformative change. As Dean of Students / Asstistant Director of the Graduate Programs in Sustainability at Bard college, Chianti brings deep care, clarity, and strategy to every space she enters—believing that true equity work begins with inner work and is sustained through collective accountability and imagination. With a national portfolio spanning higher education, nonprofits, and mission-driven organizations, Chianti has led efforts in leadership coaching, policy development, strategic planning, and climate transformation. As a senior-level college administrator in both public and private institutions, she has developed a reputation for navigating complexity with integrity, while creating systems that support justice, belonging, and repair. She is a proud member of the National Association of Diversity Officers in Higher Education (NADOHE) and a qualified administrator of the Intercultural Development Inventory (IDI). Her work focuses on organizational climate assessment, disrupting dominance and supremacy in both interpersonal and structural forms, executive coaching, and helping leaders move from allyship to authentic accompliceship.
