Liz John
Liz John is a Senior Brand Manager for Vaseline Purpose and Sustainability for Unilever North America. She ensures that Vaseline reaches its people and planet goals, managing the Vaseline Healing Project, the brand’s long-term partnership with Direct Relief, and leading sustainable innovation efforts in packaging and formulation. Liz joined Unilever in 2021 as a Social Impact & Sustainability Manager for Sundial Brands (SheaMoisture and Nubian Heritage). She created and launched SheaMoisture’s first annual Impact Report, expanded the brand’s fair trade shea butter sourcing in West Africa, and served as a lead for the Next Black Millionaires program. Prior to joining Unilever, Liz completed her MBA at NYU Stern School of Business, specializing in Marketing and Sustainable Business. Liz started her career in education and nonprofit management, serving as a middle school teacher, the Director of Education Programs at New York Cares, and the NYC Executive Director at PowerMyLearning. Liz lives in Brooklyn, NY with her husband and cat, Pepperoncino.
