Lisa Unsworth is passionate about building brands that deliver shareholder value and benefit society. That’s why after a career inside advertising agencies she took a leap and joined Porter Novelli where she could focus on sustainability and purpose driven marketing. Lisa oversees the agency’s Purpose + Impact practice in North America– covering ESG Reporting and Strategy, Sustainability Communications, Brand Purpose, Social Impact Programs and Sustainability Business Integration. She likes to say her work is one part art, one part science – covering Brand Purpose for clients like Abercrombie and Fitch, while helping to shape the sustainability agenda for clients like Dick’s Sporting Goods. Lisa began her career on Madison Avenue at Saatchi and Saatchi. Her proudest professional accomplishment is leading the development of the truth campaign – an effort focused on reducing youth smoking. truth has won every award imaginable and is credited with forever changing the way generations think about cigarettes. A New York native, Lisa received her undergraduate degree from the Newhouse School at Syracuse University and completed the Harvard Business School Program For Management Development.
