Kim Marotta
Kim Marotta is the Chief Environmental Sustainability Officer at Suntory Global Spirits, a leading premium spirits company. She is responsible for developing and implementing long-term sustainability commitments across the entire value chain through a program known as Proof Positive. Kim has been involved in the alcohol industry since 2004 and has held similar global leadership positions in sustainability at Molson Coors. Kim completed her undergraduate degree at Marquette University and graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison Law School. After law school, she served as The Deputy State Public Defender and an adjunct law professor at Marquette University Law School. Kim has been an invited speaker at various events, including GreenBiz, the United Nations Global Compact Summit, the Reuters Responsible Business Summit, the American Bar Association Spring Conference, the Sustainable Brands Conference, The Economist Sustainability Summit, and Fortune Brainstorm Green. She has also been featured as an expert on sustainability topics in interviews with major media outlets, such as Fortune, The Guardian, The Economist, Reuters, Cheddar News, and CNBC. Additionally, she has been a lecturer at the University of Chicago, the University of North Carolina, the University of Wisconsin-Madison and Marquette University. Kim serves as a director on the Maker’s Mark Distillery board and has previously served on the Keurig Dr Pepper Advisory board, as well as on the boards of The Great Lakes Protection Fund, The Sustainability Consortium, The Wisconsin Nature Conservancy, and Milwaukee World Festivals, among others.
