Jacqueline Samson, Principal Plant Engineer at The Better Meat Co., has always been passionate about sustainability and has enjoyed a career path that allows her to turn impactful solutions into reality. Jacqueline's educational background is in chemical engineering from LSU, and her prior work experience has been in pharmaceutical R&D and industrial-scale fermentation. She is now able to work at the intersection of her technical knowledge and personal values, working every day to make a positive impact in our food system. At The Better Meat Co., she oversees pilot plant operations and works with an industrialization team to identify best routes for scaling the company's processes in order to reach as many consumers as possible, as quickly as possible.
