Brian Bautsch
Brian Bautsch is currently the Director of North America Safety Strategy for American Honda Motor Co., Inc. based in Torrance, CA.
In this current role, Brian provides vision and strategic leadership of all North American safety related activities that advance Honda towards the 2030 Vision and clarifies the path to Zero Traffic Collions Fatalities by 2050.
Prior to his role as Director of North America Safety Strategy, Bautsch served as the manager of Honda’s crash Safety department, located in Raymond, OH, for five years. And prior to his manager role, Bautsch served as the technical expert within the Crash Safety Department and was responsible for whiplash, rear crash, and white body strength performance. He has spent his entire 21-year career working on safety at Honda and has held several other roles and responsibilities.
Bautsch holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering and a Master of Business Administration degree both from Wright State University located in Dayton, Ohio.
