David Hillyard is Director of Partnerships at Oxfam, where his responsibilities include Oxfam’s partnerships with the private sector. He worked as an engineer in Southern Africa and for the last 18 years has worked in the non-profit sector – developing, raising resources and managing programmes in the water, environmental and social sectors. He has wide international experience, having held responsibility for programmes in a number of countries including Malawi, Mozambique, Guinea, The Gambia, Bangladesh, Colombia and Brazil. He has a BEng.(hons) from the University of Nottingham and an MSc (distinction) in Environmental Management from Imperial College, University of London.
