Dr. John Frey is HPE’s key strategist on IT efficiency and the use of technology to drive sustainability. He partners with customers to develop solutions that drive efficiency, while reducing costs and global impact. He also consults with senior government leaders, policy makers, academia, media, partners, and stakeholders to share HPE’s leadership and best practices.
Dr. Frey has contributed his expertise to technical whitepapers and has been frequently quoted in broadcast, online, and print media. His customer engagement leadership is featured in a new book Breaking Through Gridlock: The Power of Conversation in a Polarized World. He has keynoted sustainability events for the White House, E.U. Parliament, U.S. House, and U.S. Senate, as well as for national and international conferences and customer events.
Several HPE customers have invited Dr. Frey to serve on their external advisory boards and he is a member of the Advisors Board of the Shell Center for Sustainability at Rice University and Sustainable Brands’ Advisory Board.
Dr. Frey has over 30 years of professional experience leading, driving strategy, and training executives in global health, safety, environmental, sustainability, security, and emergency response organizations for ARCO, Boeing, Compaq, Hewlett-Packard, and NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center. He has earned degrees in Safety Engineering, Divinity, and Missional Leadership.
