Dimitar Vlahov
Dimitar is a senior strategist, advisor, curriculum builder and mentor in the fields of sustainability, regeneration and climate adaptation. He currently holds the following active roles: Advisor and Co-Lead, Global Content Strategy & Thought Leadership at Sustainable Brands; Senior Strategist, Content Development & Product Innovation at Sustainability Hub Norway; and Executive Advisor at rePurpose Global. He co-led the creation of the SB Brand Transformation Roadmap, a comprehensive navigation tool mapping the whole journey from business-as-usual to a sustainable brand, and co-designed an accompanying assessment process that measures progress in five dimensions: purpose, brand influence, operations and supply chain, products and services, and governance.
Dimitar has served as a guest lecturer for Harvard University, Presidio Graduate School, BI Norwegian Business School and the Sustainable Leadership Network, among others. He has been featured as a keynote speaker, panelist and moderator at a number of conferences, including The World Economic Forum, ChangeNOW, The UN Oceans Forum, Sustainable Brands, New Metrics, and Integrate. His work has been published by Fast Company, The Huffington Post and USA Today, among others.
Dimitar holds a Master’s degree in Management Science & Engineering from Stanford University and a Bachelor’s in Economics and Mathematics from Oberlin College. Prior to his career in sustainability, regeneration and climate adaptation, he worked in international development at the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and also in economic consulting at Charles River Associates and NERA.
