Taylor Heisley-Cook is Co-Founder and CEO of The Hurd Co, a startup that engineers man-made cellulosic fiber pulp from 100% agricultural waste. The company’s agrilose™ pulp is used to manufacture viscose/rayon and lyocell, fabrics that are made from trees today. Founded in 2019, the company is currently in the Fashion for Good Accelerator working with major brands to bring debut collections to market in 2023. The Hurd Co is also a proud alum of the UCLA Anderson Venture Accelerator and Berkeley SkyDeck. Taylor is a graduate of Northwestern University and the Bren School of Environmental Science and Management at UC Santa Barbara.
