Shawn Hesse

As the Director of Business Development, Shawn leads the team responsible for growing awareness, and scaling adoption of ILFI certifications, and leads partnership efforts with other organizations to advance ILFI’s mission. Shawn has over 15 years of experience as a licensed architect and sustainability consultant with clients including Fortune 500 companies, universities, government agencies, and non-profits. He is NCARB Certified, Living Future Accredited, EcoDistricts Accredited, LEED Accredited BD+C and O+M specialties, and is trained in charrette facilitation, adult education, racial equity, and regenerative development.
