Kellie Ballew is the Vice President of Global Sustainability for Shaw Industries Group, Inc., a global provider of sustainable floor coverings and the world’s largest carpet manufacturer.

A 25-year company veteran, Kellie has a long history of partnering with Shaw leaders to leverage market insights and technical expertise to inform, influence, and support business decisions. Kellie acts as an internal consultant and subject matter expert to the enterprise — driving continued sustainability innovation and operational excellence in alignment with Shaw’s commitment to sustain[HUMAN]ability® (putting people at the heart of sustainability).

In addition to being an integral member of the sustainability team, Kellie has played critical roles in Shaw’s engineering, financial systems, and commercial technical development teams. Her early involvement with EcoWorx carpet tile and Shaw’s 20-year commitment to Cradle to Cradle design philosophies have provided her with deep knowledge and illustrate her ongoing commitment to innovation. In addition, her detailed product chemistry and process knowledge is a unique attribute to Shaw’s sustainability and product stewardship team.

Kellie earned her BS in Industrial Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology. She has been recognized locally and nationally for her contributions, including being named a 2015 Manufacturing Institute STEP Ahead award winner and a member of the 2020 class of the Institute of Georgia Environmental Leadership.
