Elizabeth Doty

Elizabeth Doty is an author, consultant, and researcher focused on increasing the positive societal impact of business. She currently serves as the Director of the Erb Institute’s Corporate Political Responsibility Taskforce at the University of Michigan, whose mission is to help companies better align their political influences with their commitments to purpose, values, sustainability, stakeholders. As a Lab Fellow at the Safra Center for Ethics at Harvard University, Elizabeth researched seven barriers to keeping company commitments to stakeholders, and her firm, Leadership Momentum, has partnered with clients in over a dozen industries to build cultures of commitment, collaboration and action. She earned her MBA from Harvard Business School in 1991 and writes regularly for strategy + business magazine.
