Angelica is an inclusive leader passionate about helping others grow professionally and personally by leading with intention, empathy, and courage. She began her career in marketing developing small business and co-brand partner programs for brands like FedEx, Verizon and Sage Software. She made the switch from marketing to research when she dipped her toe in the waters of political and advocacy-based research in Washington, DC and she has never looked back. Her research experience stretches from non-profit to consumer packaged goods and financial services. She says you can find her resume on LinkedIn but it has been the experiences outside of Corporate America have shaped her to be the purposeful leader she is today. Her eclectic background of entrepreneurial experiences include small businesses consulting, a custom handmade gift card business, Zumba® Fitness instruction, and an authorized ZumbaWear® Mobile Pop-Up Shop. Each experience gave her a deeper knowledge of people, a greater sense of empathy, and greater understanding of the challenges and rewards of brand building. In her current role, she leads global brand health, advertising, and campaign insights that drive the strategic direction for Visa, one of the world’s best known brands. She is a resident of the Bay Area where she is certain the sun shines brighter. She hikes and dances as often as possible, and is the self-proclaimed best Auntie in the world.
