Phil is a catalytic Sustainability & Corporate Responsibility (CR) executive with a 20+-year track record of creating innovative social, environmental, and business solutions to amplify ROI for people, planet, and profit. Phil is adept at engaging and activating key stakeholders to drive societal impact and measurable business value. He is a collaborative builder of compelling stories that drive social and environmental change and support brand, reputation, talent, productivity, sales, stakeholder relationships, and efficiency.

Phil has led CR and Sustainability consultancies (Salterbaxter NA, CSR Lab, and Community Matters Group) where he has advised companies across varied industries. Phil has also led CR at MassMutual, Andersen, and John Hancock.

Phil has presented and spoken at dozens of Sustainability, CR, and DEI conferences around the world. E.g., in November of 2019, he presented on the intersections between Belonging and CSR and the hidden ROI of both at the Out & Equal Workplace Equality Summit.
