We understand tight budgets may limit certain groups’ ability to attend. Therefore, we are happy to offer non-profits, NGOs, government organizations, and academic institutions 30% off the registration fee to our events. To take advantage of the discount, please contact us with the name of your school or organization.
Want to be part of the wheels running the show? Join our team of volunteers! To apply, please fill out our volunteer application form. Volunteers will be notified if they have been accepted to the program on a rolling basis. We receive more applications than we can accept every year, so please submit a thorough application stating your strengths, experience and reasons why you would like to attend.
We work with Paradise Point Resort & Spa to ensure you get competitive accommodation rates during your stay in San Diego. Space is limited, so book your hotel room at your earliest convenience. A booking link will be sent to you with your registration confirmation.
Considerations
Your wellbeing is our #1 priority. As such, all in-person attendees for SB’21 must be vaccinated. Registered attendees will receive a link to submit proof of vaccination before arriving onsite at the event per California Department of Public Health guidelines.

We’re looking forward to hosting attendees in a safe environment and we’re keeping an eye on unfolding recommendations to ensure our team and guests have a happy, healthy experience.
Safety precautions include:
- Requiring vaccination for all attendees, per CDPH guidelines. Registered attendees will receive a link to submit proof of vaccination before arriving onsite at the event.
- Requiring face coverings inside when not actively eating or drinking.
- Recommending face covering outdoors when not actively eating or drinking or when physical distancing is not possible.
- Modifying the event-space to support physical distancing.
- Cleaning and disinfecting frequently touched surfaces between sessions.
- Encouraging frequent hand washing and using hand sanitizer when hand washing is not readily available. (Hand sanitizer stations are available in public areas throughout the property.)
- Utilizing outdoor spaces when possible.
- Requesting that attendees who don’t feel well, have a high temperature, or have been exposed to a known positive covid case within the past two weeks do not attend the event.

The purchase of a pass for Sustainable Brands is a final purchase. If you change your plans for any reason, you must notify us in writing by September 18, 2021 for a credit to a future Sustainable Brands event, less a $150 processing fee. Cancellations received after this date are not eligible for a credit.
However, it is possible to transfer the pass to another person. If you do wish to transfer your pass to another person, please note that you are responsible for this process. You may transfer your registration to another person for a fee of $75 by providing written authorization to the Sustainable Brands Team at [email protected].
For cancellations after September 18, 2021 we provide a one-time credit for 50% of the full amount paid, to be applied toward registration for any Sustainable Brands conferences taking place 365 days after the conference date. The credit expires thereafter and cannot be transferred further.
If not applied at the time of registration, all discount codes must be applied within the first 24 hours following your registration. After this 24 hour period, discounts and price adjustments cannot be applied.

We’re confident you’ll find your participation in our events worth every penny and we will gladly refund your registration fee for your purchased conference pass in full if you disagree after having attended.
