Tom is South Pole’s Director Marketing and Communications. His focus is on corporate branding and positioning, lead generation, communications and events, as well as project storytelling to highlight the environmental and community impacts of sustainable development. Together with his team, he provides comprehensive marketing support, empowering many of the world’s leading brands on their sustainability journeys. Prior to his role at South Pole, Tom established m-way and sharoo, two start-ups in the areas of electric mobility and peer-to-peer car sharing, acting as intrapreneur for Migros, Switzerland’s biggest retailer. He holds a PhD in Economics from the University of St. Gallen, Switzerland.
