Sarah Kay Wiley
Sarah Kay Wiley is the Director of Policy and Partnerships at Check My Ads, the digital advertising industry’s first watchdog. As a leading brand safety advocate, she advises government officials, journalists, and industry leaders on how to build sustainable policy and standards in digital advertising. Her work as been recognized in popular press such as WIRED and the Guardian, among others, as well as received research awards at academic conferences such as the International Communication Association. She is a PhD candidate at the University of Minnesota and research fellow at the Tow Center for Digital Journalism at Columbia University. Prior to this work, Sarah practiced law with a focus on technology and privacy. She received a law degree in 2016 from the University of Minnesota Law School and is a member of the Minnesota and California bar.
