Mac Marshall is the vice president of market intelligence for the United Soybean Board (USB), evaluating and establishing long-term strategic initiatives that advance market opportunities for the U.S. soybean industry, as well as analyzing factors affecting agricultural commodities and global industries overall. His background features extensive experience in economics and trade analysis. Prior to joining USB, Mac served as the global market analysis and trade lead at Bayer Crop Science, in addition to prior experience in Monsanto’s global strategy group with a focus on commodity market analysis. Before joining Monsanto in 2014, Mac served as a staff economist at the United States Bureau of Labor Statistics with a focus on agricultural commodities, in addition to leading a team of economists covering service industries. Mac holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Vassar College and a Master of Arts degree in Applied Economics from The Johns Hopkins University.
