Thorin manages participant engagement for the United Nations Global Compact, the world’s largest corporate sustainability initiative. He has spent his career building shared value partnerships, focusing on the private sector’s vital role in achieving the global goals for sustainable development. Prior to joining the UN Global Compact, Thorin was director of corporate responsibility for a New York-based financial institution. He has also worked for numerous non-profit foundations, currently serving on the board of the University of Fondwa, Haiti. Thorin completed dual undergraduate degrees in international studies at Middlebury College and Sciences Po–Paris, and his graduate studies in U.S. Foreign Relations and International Business at the Fletcher School of Law & Diplomacy.
