Lindsay Arell is the founder and lead strategist of Honeycomb Strategies, a sustainability consulting firm specializing in the events, venue, and meeting industry. Ms. Arell works with clients to consider their business and environmental practices working together, not sacrificing one for the other because we believe when a business is innovative and resourceful, it is successful. With over 15 years of experience, she has enjoyed working with numerous venues and some of the largest and most sustainable venues, conferences, and events in the industry, including: The Philadelphia Eagles and Lincoln Financial Field, The Colorado Convention Center, Red Rocks Amphitheatre, Vancouver Convention Center, Natural Products Expo West and East, Sustainable Brands, and many others.
Ms. Arell is a LEED AP and has received many recognitions for her efforts to further the sustainability of the hospitality industry including: The 2017 “Top 25 Women in the Meeting and Events Industry”; Convention Industry Council 2014 PaceSetter Award for Sustainability, “Top 40 Under 40” by Connect Meeting Magazine, “2012 Industry Innovator” by BizBash Magazine. She is also a current member of the Mayor’s Advisory Council for Sustainability for the City of Denver, Chair of the Convention Industry Council’s Sustainability Leadership Council, and Past-Chair of the ASTM E60.02 Committee on Hospitality Sustainability 2012-2016.
