In his role of Chief Procurement Officer, Dennis is responsible to continue developing and guiding strategies to help achieve the sector’s collaborative procurement objectives to reduce costs and improve administrative efficiencies. Dennis holds a Bachelor of Arts the University of British Columbia and has contributed to industry publications and conferences covering a range of topics from customer-centricity in public sector organizations to strategies in sustainable purchasing.

Working in the sector for the past six years, Dennis for the past year was the Director of the Joint Procurement Operations Team, part of the province’s Administrative Service Delivery Transformation Project (ASDT) initiative. Dennis was the Director of Payment and Procurement Services (PPS) at the University of British Columbia (UBC). The portfolio included Supply Management, Payables, and Payroll for both the Vancouver and Kelowna campuses. Prior, Dennis held procurement leadership roles at Best Buy Canada

Dennis’ business success reflects his ability to build meaningful connections and relationships at all levels. A risk taker, Dennis has the capacity to go deep quick. He is known for unblocking abilities that help stakeholders to engage in programs, fast track programs and achieve results.
