Del is the executive lead of the Ellen MacArthur Foundation, USA Inc. The Ellen MacArthur Foundation’s mission is to accelerate the transition to a circular economy. The Foundation works with business, government and academia to build a framework for an economy that is restorative and regenerative by design.
In her role, Del is responsible for US & North America strategy and providing leadership to the Foundation’s US-based team members. She works closely with the Foundation’s CEO, COO, US Trustees and Global Program leads, and is the senior contact in the US & North America for the Foundation’s engagement with education, government, business, knowledge and funding partners.
After working for 20 years within global corporations, most recently as head of the Partnerships and Performance team within Nike Inc.’s Sustainable Business Innovation function, Del joined the Ellen MacArthur Foundation in 2017 to lead the expansion of US and North American programming.
Del’s industry and brand experience includes the fashion, health, entertainment and food sectors, where she has held senior public affairs, CSR and investor communication roles in the US, UK/Europe and Australasia.
Originally from New Zealand (and a self-confessed ‘farm girl’), Del holds a BA Social Sciences in Media Studies & Communication from Massey University. She retains an enduring interest in belief-building, generational knowledge, the mechanics of change and behavioral economics.
