Founding Partner & General Manager
Kerem Okumus is the founding partner and managing director of S360.
He was the co-founder of the Turkish Corporate Leaders Group on Climate Change (www.iklimplatformu.org) and represented Turkey as the member of secretariat network of Corporate Leaders for Climate Action hosted at the University of Cambridge. Okumus was the Head of Business at the Regional Environmental Center for Central and Eastern Europe based in Budapest (REC), which was founded by the European Commission and USA Government. He also worked as the Deputy Director of the REC Country Turkey. He served for the World Bank as the member of the senior panel for the Climate Investment Fund/PPCR Private Sector and worked for the The Climate Reality Project (founded by former USA Vice President Al Gore) as the Head of Central and Eastern Europe & Turkey Branch Office. He also served on the Steering Committee of the European Commission Innovation for Sustainability EBAE Programme and represented Turkey for 8 years. He was one of the initiators and then became the head of business network of CEO Platform for Green Growth in MENA Region based in Dubai.
He did complete the Sustainability Management Programme at TiasNimbas Business School/SCF. He was granted a Chevening Scholarship by the UK Government and received his post-graduate degree from the University of Birmingham and undergraduate degree from Bilkent University from the department of political science and international relations. Kerem Okumus, who has been working with national and international clients on sustainability since 1998, is a leading expert on sustainability and has a notable experience working with leading companies.
