Born in 1974 in Diyarbakır, Kamuran Uçar graduated from Middle East Technical University with a postgraduate degree in Chemical Engineering in 1996 and started her career at Unilever in 1999.
Following her role as OMO Brand Manager between 2002-2007, she was assigned as Marketing Director Household Care and Fabric Conditioner Africa, Middle East and Turkey in 2007 and Marketing Director Laundry North Africa, Middle East and Turkey in 2009. In 2011, she was assigned as the Vice President Marketing Laundry Category Africa, Middle East and Turkey to lead the category teams in South Africa and Turkey while also being a part of Unilever Global Laundry Category Board.
As of 2016, Kamuran Uçar started to work as Vice President Marketing Home and Personal Care Category NAMETRUB. She is also a member of Unilever Turkey Board.
Kamuran Uçar is married with two children.
