Dr. Emel Damarlı

R&D and Quality Director
Emel Damarlı is graduate of Istanbul Technical University (İTÜ) Chemical Engineering Faculty. She has completed her Ms. and PHD programs in the same university. During this period, she has done her project studies in Turkish Industrial and Scientific Council (TUBITAK) Food Technologies Institute. She has studied as Senior Researcher in the same institute on “Food Preserving and Packing Technologies in between 1984 and 1998, she has done project management of many national and international projects and she has represented Turkey in many international seminars and congress. She has 31 scientific publications about the subject.
Between 1998 and 2006, she took part in establishment of industrial organization for producing “Shelf Stable Military Ration Packs and Ready to Eat Meals” and worked as General Manager.
During 2006-2013, she worked as R&D Director responsible from different categories in Yıldız Holding Food Group; Frozen Foods and Personnel Care Products Group; Global Innovation and R&D Group Headquarter.
Since 2014, she is working as R&D/Quality Director and R&D Center Manager in Altıparmak Gıda Sanayi ve Ticaret Anonim A.Ş.
Emel Damarlı is married, has one daughter and knows English.
