Flowers for Dreams
Steven Dyme is the Co-Founder & CEO of Flowers for Dreams, a socially conscious flower company named one of Business Insider's 20 Most Inspiring Companies in America (2012). Every bouquet his company sells benefits an amazing local charity in Chicago, Milwaukee, and soon Detroit. To date, they've donated over $400,000 from the sale of flowers.
Steven is considered a leading voice on social enterprise in Chicago, having served on former Illinois Governor Pat Quinn's Task Force on Social Innovation, Entrepreneurship, and Enterprise, as an instructor on human-centered entrepreneurship at Northwestern University's Farley Center for Entrepreneurship, as well as penning op-eds on ethical business in the Chicago Sun-Times, Crains, and others. His company, Flowers for Dreams, was one of the first 30 B Corps in the state of Illinois.
