
Prasad Boradkar

About Prasad
Prasad Boradkar is user research and sustainability lead at Google ATAP, in Mountain View, CA. He is also professor in Industrial Design at Arizona State University (ASU) in Tempe, where he serves as senior advisor for the Biomimicry Center and the InnovationSpace program. The Biomimicry Center is an organization dedicated to the exploration of biologically-inspired solutions to problems of sustainability. InnovationSpace is a transdisciplinary laboratory at ASU where faculty and students from design, business, sustainability and engineering partner with corporations to develop human-centered product concepts that hold societal benefit and minimize impacts on the environment. He is the author of Designing Things: A Critical Introduction to the Culture of Objects (2010) and co-editor of Encountering Things: Design and Theories of Things (2016).
