Kathleen is the COO of Ecomedes, a platform that reduces operational costs of buildings through sustainable and healthy products.  We run the largest digital catalog of building products and certifications, sustainability attributes, and health metrics.

Kathleen has worked in silicon valley at software startups for 20 years.  She started her career in the fashion business in NYC at Chanel, and Calvin Klein.  She was a pioneer or big data and optimization at ProfitLogic which was bought by Oracle in 2006.  She spent five years at Oracle running Retail Global Sales Consulting. Since then, she has served on the executive teams of three leading analytics companies disrupting(merchandising optimization, in-store execution, and competitive intelligence.

She is a passionate environmental activist working with NGOs such as Five Gyres, Surfrider Foundation, and Save The Waves.  She is an eco-artist using ocean plastic from surf spots around the Pacific to create interactive and educational sculptures.  She lives in Ocean Beach, SF with her husband and son. They all like to surf and ski as much as possible.
