Tour Inside An Urban Honeybee Hive at the GM Renaissance Center
Join Bees in the D by suiting up and exploring active Honeybee hives located on the green roof at GM’s Global Headquarters at the Renaissance Center. You will get a first-hand look at the industrial nature of Honeybees and learn about how Detroit is becoming a leader of urban beekeeping.
At the GM apiary alongside the beehives, you will see the innovative design of an active prototype beehive. It is constructed from up-cycled vehicle parts that were destined for the landfill.
