Screening of “Flint: The Poisoning of an American City”
Please join The WaterRising Instiute, Presbyterian Disaster Assitance, Sabotage and Barnhart Films, Flint Community Developement Center, We The People of Detroit and The Charles H. Wright Museum African American History during the Sustainable Brands conference for the private “work in progress” screening of Flint: The Poisoning of an American City on the evening of Tuesday, June 4th.
This gripping film, shown at “work in progress screenings” during The Sundance Film Festival is a compelling look at drinking water and the democracy issues in Flint. It highlights the urgent need to solve the National water crisis that is unfolding in many cities and serves as a warning for the rest of the country.
After the screening there will be a high level interactive panel conversation on the National Water Crisis, national leaders will be part of this important dialogue wtih infrastructure, water affordability, water security and how we drive innovation with public policy water partnerships.
