Unveiling New Commitments to Address Food Security, Speeding Up Positive Change for People and Planet by 2030
At Kellogg, delivering business growth and fulfilling the purpose of ‘nourishing families so they can flourish and thrive’ are intrinsically linked. The company has committed to creating 3 billion Better Days by the end of 2025 by nourishing with its foods, feeding people in need, nurturing the planet and living the founder’s values. These goals encapsulate Kellogg’s Heart & Soul strategy, which is integral to achieving the Deploy for Growth business strategy.
This important work is driven by the Breakfasts for Better Days® global signature platform, which comes to life through brand initiatives, partnerships with customers like Amazon and Walmart, and collaborations with NGOs and philanthropic partners from around the world.
The Breakfasts for Better Days purpose journey is delivering for people, communities and the planet, while also driving growth for the company. In fact, Kellogg is already far ahead of schedule in achieving its 2025 commitments.
In just the last two years, the company has created 1.2 billion Better Days by:
- Donating 1.1 billion servings of food,
- Reaching 1.1 million children with nutrition education and feeding programs,
- Supporting 322,000 farmers,
- Securing 18,100 volunteer days, and,
- Engaging 135.4 million people in our journey to address food security in their communities.
